The Benefits of Keeping a Diary

The Benefits of Keeping a Diary
Keeping a diary is a helpful habit. It allows me to record thoughts and feelings. When I’m angry, writing in my diary calms me down. I also track my goals—last month, I wrote about wanting to read more, so I started a weekly book challenge. Diaries are private, so I can be honest without judgment. Reading old diaries is fun—it reminds me of happy moments, like my first camping trip. It also improves writing skills. Every night, I spend 10 minutes writing—it’s like talking to a trusted friend.
